From Monday, March 13th through Thursday, March 16th, Rick Hubbard, Vermont candidate for the U.S. Senate, will be walking across the bottom of Vermont on Rt. 9 from Bennington to Brattleboro to advocate for national campaign finance reform.

Rick is a native Vermonter challenging Senator Jim Jeffords in the upcoming November election. Details of his candidacy and positions on issues are available on his web site at www.rickhubbard.org

Rick’s schedule, subject to change, follows:

Mon. March 13th – Walk from Bennington toward Searsburg
Tue. March 14th – Walk through Searsburg to Wilmington
Wed. March 15th – Walk from Wilmington to Marlboro
Thurs. March 16th – Walk from Marlboro to Brattleboro

Along the way Rick will be meeting and talking with Vermonters. Look for the person with a red backpack and the large sign that says “Honk for national campaign finance reform”.

Rick says “If you believe campaign finance reform is important to improving our political process, please give a honk to show your support as you pass by”.
