THIS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14th THERE WILL BE A WALK TO BURLINGTON FOR NATIONAL CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM,

Rick Hubbard, Independent candidate for the U.S. Senate, invites each of you to join with other individuals and statewide and local candidates and their supporters, walking your choice of 10, 5 or 2 miles in support of national campaign finance reform. If you like, bring your own signs for this issue. Everyone is being invited, including the media!

For 10 milers, meet at 8:30am at the Richmond park and ride (just off interstate exit 11) and plan to leave by 9am. Everyone will walk on Rt 2 (later Williston Road) all the way into downtown Burlington.

Those who wish to join for 5 miles will meet outside the Friendly’s Restaurant at the Taft Corners intersection at 12 noon.  Everyone will then continue on Rt 2 (Williston Road) toward Burlington.

Those who wish to join for the last 2 miles will meet at 2pm outside the Friendly’s Restaurant near Interstate 89 exit #14. (that’s the former Howard Johnson’s restaurant)  Everyone will then walk into downtown Burlington where we’ll finish at Burlington City Hall. There from about 3:30 pm – 5pm we’ll have a discussion of campaign finance reform. You’re all invited to participate and the media will be invited to cover the walk and city hall discussion.
