PRESS RELEASE - Monday, April 10, 2000 Beginning Monday, April 10th and continuing through Friday, May 5th, Rick Hubbard, Vermont candidate for the U.S. Senate, will be walking up the east side of Vermont on Rt. 5 from Brattleboro to the Canadian border to advocate for national campaign finance reform. Rick is a native Vermonter challenging Senator Jim Jeffords in the upcoming November election. In Brattleboro meeting with citizens and collecting petition
signatures. Along the way Rick will be meeting and talking with Vermonters. Look for the person with a red backpack and the large sign that says Honk for national campaign finance reform. Rick says If you believe campaign finance reform is important to improving our political process, please give a honk to show your support as you pass by. |
