RICK HUBBARD  FOR U.S. SENATE
Voter Registration Information...
In order to vote in Vermont you must:
first be eligible; then
fill out an Application For Addition To The Checklist  in the town or city where you reside, and
take the Voter's Oath

You are eligible to vote in the town where you physically reside if, as of election day, you

  • Are a citizen of the United States
  • Are a resident of Vermont
  • Have taken the Voter's Oath and
  • Are at least 18 years old

There are several ways to receive an Application For Addition To The Checklist:

  1. You may go to your Town or City Clerk and they should have the forms there. They also will assist you in completing the form and they will administer the Voter's Oath to you.
  2. You may view and/or download the form and instructions online from the Vermont Secretary of State by clicking here.
  3. You may order the form by writing to the:

Office of the Secretary of State
Director of Elections
109 State Street
Montpelier VT 05609-1101
Telephone: 1-802-828-2363

or by writing to my campaign headquarters at

Rick Hubbard for U.S. Senate
P.O. Box 1444
57 Depot Street
Stowe, VT 05672
Telephone: 1-802-253-8544

Instructions for completing the form are found on the back of the form. Completed forms must be delivered to   the town or city clerk in the community where you reside; the Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles; or any other voter registration agency before 12:00 noon on the second Saturday before the election. The town clerk's office must stay open from 10:00am until noon on any Saturday that is the dead line for filing applications.

The laws relating to voter registration are in Sections 2121-2150 of Title 17 (click here for a link to the Vermont laws) of the Vermont Statutes Annotated. If you have any questions you may call the Secretary of State's Office at 1-802-828-2363 or (in Vermont) at 1-800-439-8683.
